Course Overview
As per Government Gazette notice 1451 of 2009, the Minister of Police introduced changes to the minimum training standards and qualifications for the Private Security Sector. The purpose was to promote the competence of Security Service Providers and align qualifications to the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).
Unlike a PSIRA compliance certificate — which is only recognised domestically — these SAQA-registered qualifications are recognised nationally and internationally, giving learners a formal career path just like any other trade or profession.
